Title: Promises.

Summary: Things are weird without Geng there, who Henry and Mimi both miss terribly.
Genre: Fluff, angst, crack, romance. All the good stuff.
Notes: For static_abyss. She asked for GengMi and I was like, ‘zomgs GengMiRy’. I wrote this in the ‘notes’ application on my iPod. 922 words at first, then edited it later on my laptop *proud*.

“Mimi-ge… this is weird.” Henry said to the fellow Chinese member of Super Junior M on their flight to Taiwan during their Perfection promotions.

“What’s weird?” asked Zhou Mi in response, turning to look at Henry through huge bug eyed sunglasses. He was barely sitting up ready to take a nap on the plane-who knew when they would get their next opportunity to sleep?

“That Geng-ge isn’t here…” Henry said with a sad sigh, looking down to his lap.

“Oh…” Zhou Mi started, “Yes… I know what you mean, but… there isn’t much we can do about it.” Zhou Mi reached over and gently pet Henry’s head, a rare occasion that he wasn’t wearing a cap. The young Canadian leaned into that hand before moving over against Zhou Mi who wrapped his arms around him tightly.

When the idea of Super Junior M was first presented to Han Geng, he was extremely fascinated by it. The idea of singing in his native tongue and the prospect of more Chinese members in Super Junior was totally thrilling. Someone to actually talk to in Mandarin who understood everything he said! That was just too exciting to pass up.

“I hope you’re in the sub-group Hanri.” Han Geng said to the mochi cheeked boy. Since the ‘Don’t Don’ promotions the pair had grown exceptionally close.

“I hope so too, gege… Sitting in my dorm playing music is only entertaining for so long.” Henry laughed after saying that with a sad sigh, but still leaned against Geng happily who wrapped his arms around him.

“Mimi-ge… Who is going to take care of me?” Henry asked as they were settling into their new dorm rooms in Taiwan. Of course he was old enough to take care of himself, but during promotions someone ALWAYS took care of him… he was the maknae after all.

“We all will take care of you, Hanri.” Mimi replied with a wide smile. “But I will take exceptionally good care of you. After all, I promised Geng-ge that I would.”

Those words caused Henry to burst into an eye disappearing smile and he went over to his Mimi to give him a kiss.

“Mi…” Han Geng began, “I’m sorry that I’m leaving like this… But I have to.”

“I know, gege…” Zhou Mi said taking ahold of Han Geng’s hands tightly.

“I just…” Tears sprang into Han Geng’s eyes, looking over to the sleeping Mochi in his bed. “Leaving him… will be so hard.”

“Don’t worry Geng…” Zhou Mi said, “I’ll take good care of him, I promise.” He looked over to Henry too before turning back to Han Geng who smiled, even as those tears fell down his cheeks.

“Thank you Mi. I don’t know what I’d do without you.” Han Geng leaned over for a kiss then, which Zhou Mi returned with vigor, driven by his sadness at seeing his friend and Gege leaving. The older pair of Chinese men moved onto the bed opposite Henry and not long after fell asleep in a pile of long, tangled limbs.

“Mimi…!” Henry choked out between sobs, “Why did he leave me!?” It had been a few weeks since Han Geng had filed his lawsuit against SM Entertainment and the young Canadian was totally distraught. “He said he loved me Mimi, that he’d never leave me! So why is he gone!?”

“Shh… Shhh. It’ll be okay, Hanri.” Zhou Mi held onto him, trying to calm him down, “He had to leave… He told us that he had to.” He paused for a moment, wiping off Henry’s tears, “You said that you understood…” Zhou Mi was distraught too and just didn’t know how to calm down Henry, or himself for that matter.

“Well I don’t understand!” shouted Henry, “Not anymore! That butthead!” Henry swallowed back his emotions, though his tears refused to stop falling, “I just… Just want him back here to hold me…”

“Aww…” Zhou Mi choked a moment, blinking back his own tears, “It’s okay Hanri… I’m here for you… I’m here.” He gently rubbed Henry’s back then while the younger boy looked up at him.

“Will you hold me tonight?” The puppy dog stare that Zhou Mi got along with that question made it hard for him to say no, not that he was going to anyway. With a heavy sigh, he agreed. The pair shared their feelings for their lost friend that night while sharing their bed for the first time.

“Henli-sshi!” Sungmin yelled, “You shouldn’t run away like this! We’re on soon!”

“I have to hyung!” yelled Henry in reply, “I have to see if he’s really here!” And then he ran off before anyone could stop him.

“Where has he gone?” Zhou Mi asked, watching as Henry disappeared.

“A stylist said that Hankyung-hyung is here… But we’re on in 20 minutes.” Sungmin sighed heavily, “Henli-sshi wouldn’t listen to me though and ran off to look for him.”

“Geng’s here!?” Zhou Mi nearly cut Sungmin off, completely shocked at the admission.

“Yeah, that’s the rumor… Apparently he films after we do.”

“Oh no…” Zhou Mi bit his lip, hoping all for the best.

“Geng!? Geng-ge!” Henry shouted for his gege without any luck. He’d looked all around but hadn’t found him yet. Just when he was about to give up, Henry was shoved into the closest empty room with a tongue down his throat.

If those lips hadn’t tasted so familiar Henry would have shoved that man away. But they did. He could tell from the taste alone that it was his Geng.

“You’ve changed…” he muttered after the kiss, smiling wide.

“A lot of time has passed.” Henry retorted, sticking out his tongue with an added ‘merong’ noise.

“How’s that saying go?” Han Geng countered immediately, continuing in English, “Don’t stick out your tongue unless you plan on using it?”

Henry’s eyes went wide hearing Han Geng speak English. It was, in a few words, fucking hot!

“Where did you learn that?” He murmured, putting his tongue to good use like Han Geng suggested, licking the older Chinese man’s neck.

“One of my dancers, the Parisan… is a total flirt… nnn-said it to me one day.” Han Geng’s mind was quickly going fuzzy, about as quickly as Henry was undoing his pants.

“Hmmm~ I’ll have to thank him later.” replied Henry before the pair was kissing again.

During a break from their recording, Zhou Mi pulled Henry off to the side.

“Did you find him?” He asked with a small smiled which was answered with a larger smile from Henry in addition to a nod.

“I did. He told me to give this to you too…” Henry glanced left and then right to make sure that they were out of sight and then kissed Zhou Mi deeply, groping him through the pants as well.

He squeaked in surprised at the deep kiss from Henry before returning it, body already unwillingly responding to that hand.

When Henry pulled away and Zhou Mi got over his momentary daze, he looked at the younger man with a questioning glance, asking ‘how did you know’ with his eyes alone.

“He asked.” Henry said with a shrug, “I told him the truth. Gege approves by the way… He said that he wouldn’t have it any other way and to, ‘Please keep taking care of my baby’.” The ending was accompanied by bunny ears in the air to mark the quotation marks of Han Geng talking.

The smile that the young Canadian wore at that moment could almost rival that of the sun and was so infectious that soon Zhou Mi found himself smiling too, giving yet another kiss to his beloved Henry.

Several months later, after Super Junior M was done with their promotions and the rest of Super Junior went on to work on Mr. Simple, Henry and Zhou Mi decided to take a trip together. Where did they wind up going? Beijing, of course.

Waiting there at the airport for them was Han Geng who greeted them with open arms. They were his two favorite men after all.
