When I first read the title, it seemed somewhat familiar, and I thought it might be a really old piece of yours, but I see that it's much more recent than that.

I haven't seen the things you've been doing in the last, oh, 15 years or so, and that piece was wonder-full. I was particularly moved by the middle-ish passage about the masque...but all of it was moving, in ways I didn't expect. I need to go back and read it again when I have more time. :)

Do you mean the jetpack computer game? (I Googled around a bit, and found a jet back computer game by that name.) I haven't played it, but it looks like fun.
