Well, I have booked my flight. I will be in Sacremento CA from Wednesday January 7th until Monday January 12th. The first 2 days, possibly stretching into Friday will be spent with the Sacremento Zoo doing a final interview for a keeper position and getting a feel for the area and the zoo. Well, its been a rather strange few weeks. A keeper got fired (this is actually a good thing and been a long time coming), so we are working short staffed. While a new keeper has been hired, training takes time, and thus I have been working 6 day weeks for the past 3 weeks and have one more to go . I know, I know, I NEVER update. I will try to do better Anyway, an update. I did manage to wrangle a few days to go home to Michigan (Dec 17th-22nd).
