Let's count them.
1. Windows 7 is not compatible with the virus protection program my college's internet requires.
2. My old ass computer's keyboard isn't working. The number lock key works. Go figure.
3. I copy-paste each and every letter, number etc for the password and username that my internet's cisco login shit requires. Ooh, they have a new update. My comp's too old to handle it and shuts down everytime I do jack with it.
4. Terry's not far, I call to maybe persuade him into grabbing a keyboard for me. But Rhonda's church friend just hung himself, she needs everyone at home, since she knew him during her time there and hasn't spoken to him in months. Okay.
5. Nobody picks shit up anymore. Nobody? Really? Friends =/= Helpful.
6. All I have is Hancock... yea... not watching that again.
7. I sleep, as I have been exhausted. I mean, I skipped sleep altogether. It's six, so I get a good two hours before that suitemate of mine and her friends bust into her room and screech, giggle and pussyfoot around. nngh.
8. I give up, get up, mess with my computer. Apparently, when it's giving you slight internet to download the virus protection, I can look through my school's site. I do. My fuckin' entire schedule is GONE. I kinda spaz, look for an outlet. Family, friends are worth shit, so I resist hitting my beautiful laptop.
9, I collapse, starving and thirst, but too fuckin' pissed to do anything about it-- sleep ensues again. Cool dreams, least.
10. Gawd, I have just gotten to the first day? What. I wake up two hours early, unable to remain unconscious. Go to my first class (I wrote the schedule down that I had before it vanished) and they suggest getting the used books quick, since they're costly. First I check with my advisor, to make sure they didn't really fuck my shit up. The building's stuffed with people. I leave.
11. I head to the store, get my used comp textbook, all happy. The line's all the way to the back, but I stick it out. Get to the cashier... the total's 83.30!? Fuckinwhat, how does this work?? nngh, I die inside and head off to check with the comp people.
12. It's stuffed here. Hot, too. I call Bonzai, laugh at dumb people and finally I get my turn. They have a cure for Windows 7 block (obviously), but I need my laptop. I head back to my dorm, drop off the book and return. They fix the shit, happiness ensues.
13. I check into the advisor's building, and it's even more packed. I sign a sheet and he says it'll prolly be an hour before my turn. I have a class, so I head there, hoping they don't pass my name.
14. It was American Government. I love my professor. He's from Sierra Leone, though, so the South still had yet to produce an acceptable professor. <3 I don't want to lose this class.
15. I hurry back. I wait a half hour, and yay~ She sees me, tells me I was never validated. Which I was. She redoes my schedule, but I can't be in the computer class-- remember, the only one I bought the book for? Yea. I get everything else, so she says. I solidify my double major, since those morons keeps screwing around with it.
16. So I'm told to get two signatures in the Coltrane building (bit of a walk). The woman I see there tells me advanced psych is full, and as I'm a continuing freshman, I need to take another. She gives me a spot in Psych of personality. Not too thrilling sounding, but I just want a break. My legs kill, my lips are chapped, the back of my leg is crying... nngh.
17. I drop by the place to be validated. Longgg line. But guess what I find out? Ninety percent of them are there for book vouchers. I skip ahead an hour later and she tells me I need to go to billings. Apparently my payment plan hasn't paid up for January.
18. I get there. The woman who sees me is kind, but she keeps rambling about all this shit. Apparently we set up a plan which was always going to be too short of a payment. Great. She says I need to get $945 to TMS before I can be validated. The honors program is still holding off on my fuckin' scholarship, so I'm gonna shoot em. *cough* Or hire someone, whatever.
19. I call ma, tell her. She takes it out of my account (which kinda kills me... it's my apartment money *sulks*). I wait a half hour, watching the time. I miss my freshman comp II class, but I know the prof so it's no big deal. The next one I wanna make, so I bug her.
20. She tells me she's heading to lunch, though. I convince her to validate me when she finishes and I rush off to class. Psych of personalities is gonna be an easy-ass class. I picked the rectangle. *amused* Only one... which is the reason I picked it. I've been so dizzy all day from the sheer amount of morons surrounding me. nngh. *breathes slowly*
21. So by now, all my classes are on M, W and Friday, so I'm half worried and half grateful. Nothing to do tomorrow. I go to see my advisor, she prints out my schedule and I grab lunch.
22. I realize I neeeeeeed to save up money. I mean... money. *sulks* So I ask about an app for the cafeteria. The woman tells me to go to the ground floor, and find Dawn? Don? Yea, I head down there and ask the only available man. He says Tracey handles apps, but Tracey's gone.
23. He directs me to whole OTHER elevator in the back room, which leads to the kitchen. I need to find Don/Dawn. I get in, it's extremely padded. As though people hit the sides a lot (all the other elevators on campus are not like that). There are doors on both sides, which always confuses me. I get out to the kitchen and ask the first guy I see about Dawn/Don. He doesn't speek English.
24. He recognizes the name after a whole discussion which went nowhere. I find Don/Dawn, and she's this woman who creeps me out. I mean, she has spoken to me before and I usually tried to avoid her based off those interactions. I get my app, though. Whoot.
25. When I take the elevator back, the doors open the opposite way. I'm somewhere else entirely. I find my way eventually.
26. I head to grab my movies of the night. He says he's gonna be nice (special treatment by the movie people, did I mention? *amused*), but I had books due one week ago. Wait, what. You mean during break? The ones I renewed the exact day before break? Huh. Luckily, there's no charge.
27. I need to take my huge ass comp book back and stand in line. Haven't done this yet. =_o
28. Back of knee:
EDIT:
29. I get to World Civ. She explains it's world civ II, which I've already taken. I just fixed that mix up, but MAN, I could have just lounged around. And now I need to get up early on Tuesdays and Thursdays *sulks* The only other option was to get up at eight in the morning three times a week. What? No, I'll go with two times, and later in the day. 9:30, btw. mnn. Now I wait until Art. Gawd, sucky day.
HA. Twenty eight. So I've been typing this since I got back from the cafeteria. I have two more classes from six to eight (though it's orientation, so I hope they're short), so I won't be shocked if there are more to add.
When you think you had a bad day, look at this shit. nngh.
Yea, class soon. *slumps* Oh, I was really, really dizzy and... uncoordinated? with all the people around me for so long. However, when I endure it long enough, it starts to become fun. I feel like I'm bouncing when I'm actually standing still. Not exactly good for the stomach, though. Wait-- I got my-- Shit, there should be one more in there. *edits*
Anyways, gotta head to World Civ and Intro to Art... I hope these classes are like heaven. =_= Thank gawd I have jack to do tomorrow.
