Bored, bored, bored. Significant improvement over yesterday, when I was so overworked that I skipped lunch & barely left my desk all day.

Have found that I need to give my fingers & wrists a day to recover in between practicing the bass. Damn RSI. D: The good news is, I've found an instructional book that very much works for me-- Hal Leonard

I know I have the impression that finger players are far cooler as well, but god knows where I got that, because I'm not a musician. Unless you'd like me to sing, really, really badly.

So far, the vast majority of bandom bassists appear to be pick players. I'm not sure why that is.

It is a lot of fun. I'm not expecting to play with a band or anything, but I'm definitely having fun playing. :D
