Warped Tour was awesome, hilarious, and exhausting. My ears are still ringing a little. Here are my comments on Warped, in text message form ( Read more... )

That was pretty much the same thing I said about The Audition after the first time we saw them. They just need a little push and they'd be huge.

Lesson learned for the day: always listen to me ;)

I think they might be on their way up, based on the size of the crowd for their set!

I bow to the wisdom of The Legend. ;D

Oh man, I love FF5, and I'm the same way about Christian acts too. But they totally do rock, and they're not preachy in the least, at least not anytime I've seen them.

This sounds fantastic! And this:

hot pink g-string with a penguin on the front

made me giggle.

The hot pink penguin g-string has to be seen to be believed. Hopefully one of the people I was with got a picture of it. o.O

Opening band for the gig I went to last Friday describe their music as Metallic Skacore", which was pretty accurate. Mmm, hardcore with a brass section! Fusion FTW.

And yes, it amazes me every time just how good Cobra Starship is at getting the audience going, at how incredibly in to it everyone is, on stage and on the floor.

Metallic skacore? That is kind of awesomely random.

Cobra Starship is definitely the most fun in concert of all the bands I'm into right now. I can't wait to see them again.

OMG FAMILY FORCE 5!

ILThem! I know, I know, I was totally all, "No. Wait. Really? What?" when my buddy told me about them - he worked at a christian underage club locally. But they are so awesome, and really nice and YAY!

We're going to see them when they come here, even though they're playing an awful little bar that I hate. We have to remember earplugs, because FF5 is amazingly loud. It's going to be fantastic. :DDD
