Recovery Week
It's always difficult to get back into a normal routine after a long weekend at an Anime Convention. I really wish this had been one of the summer ones, when I could actually have a few days to recuperate. I managed to stave off most of the Con Plague, but I'm still kind of sick. Nothing a week's worth of rest won't cure.

Agreed. I wouldn't like that much physical contact all the time, but once in a while, it's nice. And from friends, it's always welcome.

Kurapika's York Shin outfit is my favourite. I have a set of Nen chains that I bought off Ebay, but they're really a Chinese bootleg and the rings are too large for my fingers. Nevertheless, they're nifty.
If you need any kind of images or screenshots for Kurapika referencing, just let me know. If you haven't seen them, the anime sketches for Kurapika's chains are here and here. I really wish I remembered where I originally found them, but I'm fairly certain they're official.
They also used a slightly altered version of Kurapika's York Shin outfit for the York Shin-based Hunter x Hunter play.
I can't believe I'm making a skirt and jewelry for a male cosplay...Kurapika's gender has always been the number ( ... )

You have the a set of the chains? That's really cool actually, even if they don't fit, still fun to have around. I think I might have seen a set of them already made like that while I was browsing around.
Actually those scans of his chains are really helpful, I found the first one already, but the second one is new to me. Thank you!!
Oddly enough, when I looked through some sites to get images...Some people really were calling him a 'she', only to be corrected by someone else. Turned into quite a discussion...
Oh, and I've decided to make Sheik a permanent part of the PortCon lineup xD I guess I'll have to look out for a fangirl then.
