Carlos was a wonderful friend, to me. But now there isn't much beyond an e-mail here and there, once a week or slightly more. It's slightly upsetting that things can amount to so little.

I thought I was going blind last night -- my eyes were filling with puss. By this morning, they were actually sealed shut. I felt as if I was going to rip my eyelashes out... I find myself having to sit and stare at a wall for several hours to even attempt to figure out what others think of me, especially directly after I first meet them.
