Nearly all the teams I have rooted for so far have been kicked out. Of course I rooted for USA, but after a heart-breaking match with Ghana (and Ghana diving for calls), they were kicked out ( Read more... )

Hey, I'm not sure if you remember me. We used to talk on AIM a LOOONNNNGGG time ago. My friend, at the time, Becky introduced us if I remember correctly. Erm. Patrick's my name. lol Yeah, that's the one. I was never really sure where it was from. (Chrono Cross perhaps?) It inspired me a long time ago to write a poem back in 2002/2003... I won a high school literary contest because of it. Never got to thank you for that. I'm not really expecting a reaction to it, just figured I'd share it with you since you were somewhat responsible for it. I wrote it for a childhood friend who ended up moving away (breaking my heart in the process, of course lol ( ... )

I actually had that poem saved from when you put it on your LJ years ago, haha. I think I even recall you mentioning you won a contest for it.
