You seem to have a science fiction sort of theme going, which is why I'm volunteering these:
Robert A. Heinlein The Door Into Summer Starship Troopers (Actually I love a lot of his stuff, but the later works get pretty ... preachy. Most people will recommend Stranger in a Strange Land which is good until the last third of the book which is really preachy and weird... or The Cat who Walked Through Walls. Or Job: A Comedy of Justice, but that one is obviously religious in nature. Really awesome, was the first book of his I read, but ... yeah. Those first two aren't preachy and are awesome books, from his early work.)
John Steakley Armor
Roger Zelazny The Chronicles of Amber - this is actually a 10 book series... they are very short books though. The first 5 are with one narrator, and they are a must read. The second 5 are a different narrator, and not as good... but if you like the first 5 the second are a decent read also. But seriously, read the first five.
I do very much like science fiction and that sort of fantasy, though arguably I've really not read a huge number of classics.
IIIII shall definitely add those to my list, and thank you for the recommendations! I appreciate them. I feel like Zelazny is vaguely familiar and I'm not sure why, though I'm certain I've not read any of those before.
The book I found a horrible read. But I was in the musical when I was in 6th grade and the story is actually pretty fun. I've just found that most of Dickens' stuff is... not to my liking.
