A girl I work with used to be a hairdresser, and when I came in with my hair all be-hawked, she offered to dye it properly and thin it so it's easier to stand up. And she did marvelously!
I've rinsed my head three times since she dyed it, no shampoo, and it still bleeds pink profusely under the shower head. And my hair's just as vibrantly red no matter how much seems to come out in the shower, haha.
I'm pleased!

I dropped off my rent application yesterday. Hopefully the whole "I have two jobs and student loans!" thing will convince them I am apartment-worthy!
I finished The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson and was like, oh my god, I want to read the rest of these books immediately. I'm on The Girl Who Played With Fire now and it's just as good so far. Apparently, the movie for the first book is coming out on DVD soon and I want it so badly. I never saw it in theaters, but I quite like the girl they got to play Lisbeth and it is just a frickin' good story, so I want to see it! Must wait until July though, evidently.
I managed to razor the tip of my finger. Not shaving, no. Reaching into a bag that had a razor in it that I had apparently forgotten about. I briefly thought, "Huh, the crimp end of that lotion sure is sharp." Until I saw that I was bleeding profusely! Awesome. I feel super smart and skilled at life after that.
I like my job. In August, I'll be fifteen minutes farther away from it than I am now and I'm not sure I'll be able to justify the gas/toll/time cost to get there. :( I could find another groomer's and try to get a job there, but... I like these people! Gahhh, choices. At least I have a while to mull.
