Fuck doctors. I wish that there were some invention that made doctors able to feel the pain of their patients. They wouldnt be so arrogent then.

that invention would make millions. although i think there would be a lot less people lining up to compete to get into medical school. think if you had to feel other peoples' pain all day instead of just fixing it? it would be the hardest job ever, but you're right they would actually listen to people instead of pretending to know everything.

I'm in a class right now talking about the biomed. model of health v. the social model, and, if you don't mind, I might bring your abbreviated story up in class. Also, we talk about how health care is gendered, so out of curiosity, how many of your crap drs were male and how many were female? Dammit, I'd love to just pick your brain about this because it's so personal and powerful, but I'm still a lil drunk right now so I should go to bed.

the abbreviated version of my crap drs? mostly male and generally the older they get the less they tend to believe me, but if you'd like me to really think about it we could talk about it. feel free to ask me about stuff, but yes, i agree, doing it sober is better than slightly drunk.

thanks for the encouragement. i might talk to you a little bit about things when i get back, but for now i'm trying to just focus on being home and getting my new room and bathroom in order and spending time with my parents and friends.
