Ok, so I feel stupid, but is this a true story, or a made up one?

I don't think I've ever heard of a chimera except in fantasy novels.

It's a true one, wiki says there are only about 40 reported cases in humans in history, if you listen to the broadcast, they talk about doing it in other animals in vitro as well.
