Awwww!

Well, try to have fun anyway. Your cutie will be here when you get back, and the reunion will be a lot of fun.

Also, I will be in your neck of the woods between Nov. 21 and Dec 2. I'd love to get up with you and Jack - ideally with you, Jack, Christa, Tedd, and Mike, all at the same time. A small dinner party might be in order. Check y'all's calendar and see what you can do!

I was thinking maybe a post-Thanksgiving use-up-the-leftovers kind of relaxed get-together. Yay for food.

We can do that. I am up and down for whatever. My house is pretty small, though. It seems like it is just about full with 5 people in it...

I saw someone with one of those European country ovals on their car recently that had CH... Except it was for "Chapel Hill", but the only reason I knew this was because there was some tiny writing near the bottom. Near as I can guess they didn't even know there was an actual country that used CH.

Where are you in Switzerland, and what for? I went abroad to Zurich in my Junior year.

Running an equipment trial for my company- basically, we need a big machine to mix pigment and melted plastic, and there are a couple companies up here who make something we might be able to use. (Although we're only working with one of them...)

We flew into Zurich. Anything I should be planning for the weekend I'm' stuck here?

Zurich itself doesn't really have any special tourist spots to hit, though it's a very nice city to just travel around.

If you've got a day, definitely go up to the Alps. A nice train ride up the mountains is possibly even more enjoyable than whatever destination you go to. The views are just unbeatable and it's a great experience to see the sheep grazing on 45 degree slopes.

Sounds like the travel can be fun even with all the work you are bound to be up to.
