Monsters vs. Aliens

There was, unfortunately, a hefty tax on 3D goggles. Once we'd swallowed that bitter pill, Monsters vs. Aliens turned out to be a surprising amount of fun &emdash; in 3D, no less &emdash; in exchange for minimal cringing, most of which was at the extended Close Encounters theme. I'm still wondering whether Stephen Colbert got to write his own lines
