A tour of Raine's room
Raine's room is divided into two main sections by simple painted shoji dividers like they have in Mizuho.
From her doorway, they form a "hall" over to a large open area next to the window which she uses as atudy area. There's a large, comfortable chair positioned to get the best light from the window with broad arms that could be used to set something down and write on it. In the corner is a large, half-full bookshelf. One row has various titles like "The Sword in the Stone", "The Legend of Fafnir", "Mithos the Hero: A Modern Perspective", and others in a similar vein. On another row are books like "Principles of Magic", "Pre-Empire Sorcery and Adron's Disaster", "Understanding Mana", "Advanced Magical Theory", and a copy of "The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1". Yet another row is full of histories from various worlds, and on the top row are some beautiful photography books of various ancient ruins next to the plushie of her Lileep.
Her desk is also in this area and, while it's fairly organized, usually has at least one set of sray or uncategorized papers. Notable items on the desk are a Quick-Notes Quill from her friend Albus Dumbledore, several notebooks of various sizes including a tiny one that looks like it's bound in leaves, a box of blank sheets of paper, and various files with titles in an ancient form of the elven language (except one that's titles in the angelic language that reads, appropriately, "Angels and Demons"). This is also where her Altaria plushie usually lives.
The "hall" of shoji also continues off from this area with two openings: her bathroom and her bed. Towards her bathroom is a large, mirrored vanity sink with drawers for her accessories, cosmetics, and jewelry. Her Dragonair plushie is draped playfully over the mirror. The bathroom itself is fairly standard for Paradisa: large marble bathtub, linen closet, toilet.
Towards her bed area it's much more messy than the rest of her room. Her bed is rarely made, though when it is the Quagsire plushie sits realistically next to her pillows. Dirty clothes tend to accumulate in piles until she remembers to tell the ghosts to do laundry. Her Delcatty's pet bed is here, though just as often she'll sleep on the bed with Raine. Raine's wardrobe door is usually open, showing a variety of interesting outfits and some formalwear that she hasn't had the chance to use yet. Though this section doesn't have a window, it's brightly lit during the day and, at night, the Ampharos plushie (which has been magically converted into a lamp) gives more than enough illumination. It sits on an end table along with - surprise! - a few more books. These ones, however, look a little less educational and a little more cheesy: romances, mostly, though there's one action-adventure called "Tomb Raider" with the picture of a sexy young woman carrying artifacts out of a booby-trapped ruin. Can't imagine why she likes that one.
