Less like dying, more like transcending

I am pretty sure that while JE was quick to point out that life is war, he failed to mention that it's driven by snipers and terrorists.

It came after me today, full throttle.  Same exact attack that snapped me into full meltdown in December.  While I'm not in full meltdown by any means, I feel the suffocating weight of it pressing on me.  I feel ( Read more... )

This may seem hard, but I think it worth thinking about. This isn't for me to express myself. This is for you to think over. It's iron sharping iron.

If you are hearing the same thing over and over by different people, and in different places my question is this. Why is it a demonic attack? Could it be the Lord is trying to tell you something? Is there something here you don't see but others do? They haven't left you alone, you just may feel that way. If nobody cared, they would just let you be and not confront the issue. Is there something to learn here? These are growing pains. It's all part of growing up!

That part is good. If we didn't have growing pains we might question what our standing with the Lord is.

First of all, if you are in relationship with me on the level that you feel comfortable issuing an "iron sharpening iron" challenge, it would be best that you identify yourself. I will not be responding to anonymous posts on this topic anymore. If a poster does not identify themselves to me, be it publicly or privately, they will receive no response at all. And if I have any reason to believe there is even the smallest bit of ungodly motivation, the post will be removed ( ... )

Oh Lisa.. In no way am I accusing you. I just know from experience that when we hear something enough times it should be looked at. If someone is saying something (this goes for everyone and I know more so for me) maybe we need to look at what we are doing that we come across in a certain way. Really.. this advice is for me as well. That's what business people do all the time. If it doesn't work, well, why doesn't it? How can I do better the next time? What mistakes did I make that I can improve upon. Life really is like that ( ... )
