So today, this knob comes to our office for an interview for a co-op position in the fall, but he had already screwed the pooch in my book ( Read more... )

Ruka, you make me afraid. I've been a CS major for some time now, and I've never even heard of Questions #1 or 2 above.

#3, if I may rely on basic algebra, relies on the value of N. For N > 2 ,4N is faster.

Should I take up underwater basket weaving?

Ahh, silly me.

I was thinking of 4N as being "faster" in terms of the growth of N. Seems that I was looking at things back-asswards.
