Heya :D... First things first, Happy Holidays to everyone :)

Finally done with a LOT of things in RL that have been keeping me from updating... Over the last month and a half I've had something around at least twenty different projects/papers/assignments that I had to do before the close of the semester, only ended up having to take like two finals ( Read more... )

Right after I got Soboro, I wished my SAM was about level 50. Since it is 75. How is damage in EXP PTs? Do you really have to hold back since you get crazy TP? Do you usually /thf or do you /war. Seems like /war would make you tank more than most tanks D:.

2 other SAMs in my LS have Soboro. When we get bored we go to Kuftal Tunnel and farm KSeals or just clear out a whole floor using the Soboro's. We kinda ruined the Gilsellers fun, they didn't know Amemet walked around at the time and we got 2 Amemet's from them. SAM/WAR and SAM/NIN on Amemet ftw!

It's insane damage in exp PTs...

It could just be my equipment, but it's been really good damage. It's honestly like, really overpowered for this level. As SAM/WAR I pull hate so much with it, I end up tanking as much as the tank. ><

It's a lot of fun though, I don't even need Meditate to keep up with TP for two other SC partners.. I only use it to self-SC every 3 minutes, lol. I get 300% TP a lot too, it's great. XD

I remember someone saying since SAM WS's are so hugely affected by STR, and because multi-hit weapons are evil, it might be the best katana for WS burn PTs, period.

I wasn't able to ever test Soboro out before 75 but it surprises me that the DoT from it hangs rather well with the top notch GKTs even in 75 EXP PTs. It's also the best bet for solo/exp I think in most cases. Not to mention it's really fun lol.
