Well, after 10 pages of this I didn't have much of a choice but to try to make some time for an update! Honestly I didn't think I'd be able to just because this weekend was pretty packed with work, and this entire semester is going to be really busy. But, I made a little bit of free time each day of the week to get some of the screen shot stuff out

You mean magic defense? D:

If you just built your gear on strictly fire resistance then occasionally you'd take full damage from flares, since you can never resist 100% of the time (just like you can't have 100% acc). A full damage Gigaflare will typically do around 1100-1300, which can sometimes one-shot you (or come very close).

There's nothing wrong with getting fire resistance of course, but for that BC in particular it's best to put all -magic/magic defense over any resistance first, like in the gear set I posted.
