Jan 06, 2009 19:18

I'm starting a challenge for myself this year because by the end of 2009 I hope to be a lot more organised than I am now. i like this SO much better than the 101 challenge... Do you mind if i copy you (flattery, and all), and jump on the same band-wagon? I'll credit you cuz i'm like that... But my resolution this year is to be a better housewife, and something like this is exactly what i've been looking for to help me out.

Yeah definitely! We can help each other out and spur each other on :D

If I wasn't trying to limit my computer time I would so suggest making a community for this. I got the idea from a thread on a forum which was called "SAHMs Getting More Organised for 2009" :)

I suppose I could make a community anyway and ask for volunteers to help mod... *ponders*

Actually, do you mind if I ask in sept babies 08 if anyone would be interested in following the challenge and/or joining a community about it? I imagine a lot of new(ish) mums would find something like this a real help. If I thought a community would be active-ish, I would quite like to make one.

Thats such a good idea, mind if I copy you?

Yeah, go ahead :) In fact I made a community for it if you want to join, housetraining. Sort of under construction, but functional. Just fine-tuning it really.

...everyone else had things like "Go to Rome" and "Finish my novel" and I had things like "Remember to eat lunch every day"

Ha ha, I know exactly what you mean!
