Self Assessment Tax

I have been really panicking about getting my tax return done before the deadline of 31 January, and someone decides to tell me NOW that it's the 2007-08 tax, not the 08-09 tax, that needs to be paid! I wasn't self employed in the last tax year, just this one, so that is a relief as it means I don't have to do anything until next year

Hehe I think I might set one up though my only concern is the whole internet privacy thing - I've been on LJ since 2003 (and properly since 2005) and I can see myself still being here in 5 years as well but I suppose if I kept all personal details private it should be fine - it wouldn't be more than I say about him on here anyway.

I am so pleased you said this about teething. I am being driven mad by people who from a few weeks old have blamed everything on teething and everytime a baby puts their hand in their mouth goes "oh they're teething"!! No they aren't!! Like you say babies explore their world through their mouth and hands. It really is one of my annoyances at the minute!!
Have you read the "How to be a little sod" series of baby diary books? I set up an LJ for R but I haven't updated it which is a bit sad really but I haven't had time.

My stepmum has read them and recommends them. I read a bit using the "see inside" thing on amazon and they seemed quite good - I might see if the library has them.
