Well if you do ever kick the habit of the internet, make sure you start communicating with me via snailmail before you do it. It would be terribly depressing were I to find out one day that Marissa merely disappeared from my life. That would be a deep, dark, empty whole to fill... and I can't think of any number of books that would fill the gap in an appropriate fashion.
i think i may indeed kick the habit of the internet shortly. i've done a very bad job keeping up with my friends and they know it so the flow of emails and messages has stopped. besides that, there's very few fun websites i enjoy anymore. i used to read perez hilton out of sheer boredom and all that hollywood bullshit is more depressing than reading the arrest page of the local paper. it's all very blah around here, both in my virtual life and in real life.
but the weather is picking up and getting warmer so maybe things will brighten up a bit.
