These days, good anime seem to be hit or miss. I think I got lucky with Angel Beats and Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai this last year and K-On! the year before. Macross Frontier and Gundam 00 went without saying since those both tend to appeal to me easily ( Read more... )

Also, I'd tell you to finish HOTD, but after I finished it awhile back.. I was like, "Why did I watch this?" The most exciting thing that happened was Saeko half naked in an apron. And Rei's jealous tendencies.

Only newish things I've watched/liked lately are Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Shinryaku! Ika Musume, and Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai... Just started watching Dragon Crisis, if only because dragon was in the name and I liked the op.

Shinryaku! Looks like something i'd watch. Lol guess I'll give it a shot. Took me a while to figure out what Kami Shiru was. Guess that's on the list too.

Queen's Blade really disappointed me... the premise of the series has a lot of potential, but they went the predictable route and decided to let the "service" trump the plot.

I need to get around to watching Angel Beats! and Asura Crying'... and probably Freezing, which is a 33/33/33(?) split between the premise, characters-are-hot and hey-it's-that-voice for me. That thing looks like it's fanservice in more than one way.

I have watched a few episodes. Definitely a series to watch on the fly. The gags are are pretty funny but sometimes cliche. Though I guess that gives its charm.
