I AM SO EXCITED! Why you ask?
BECAAUUSSSSEEEE we're going to read Book 6 of the Iliad and you know what that means! We're going to read scenes with Hector in 'em, including his interaction with Andromache and his infant son. YEY! That so makes up for the 200 lines I had to study.........sort of. As for the test not so sure how I did. I got the gist of it, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out the forms for the name's of Odysseus and Ajax. Genitive or dative? >_< So, I guessed. I said dative of disadvantage…if that even exists. (Yes, I realize that ya’ll probably have no earthly idea what the heck I’m talking about but I need to ramble right now. Ya know how it is.)
Anyway, I picked up Achilles by Elizabeth Cook and started to read a bit right before my Cult. Antro exam and WOWZERS does she write well. And very prettily I might add. I'm excited to read more. :)
Glad tomorrow is Friday; this week was too stressful for my liking.
Although, this weekend is going to be lonely because Alison left for some sheep show until Monday. (Yes, she shows sheep as in ‘Mary had a little lamb.’ I am not kidding. And yes, I was very startled when she told me this.) Alexis is probably off to some party somewhere and will insist I tag along but I just won’t answer her calls because I am not going to be left alone at some drunken revelry while she goes off to make out with some random dude. Meghan’s papa is coming up from DC and Greg is, well, RA duty. I guess I could hang out with Zach but he is kinda weird, I mean I know I’m weird, but he is, like, weird-weird. I don’t want to be alone with him. I suppose I could see what Brain is up to…
/thinking out loud
I miss Avatar. Does anyone know when it comes back on the TV? I’m currently showless and it feels so odd. Normally I have like at least one show I have to watch but since I started missing Lost episodes due to my Greek study groups and forgetting to watch it online. I’ve been outta the loop to even start up again. Then there was Rome and it’s over, which is very sad indeed. Showless is a weird state to be in. Although, I will admit VH1’s celeb reality (I Love NY, Charm School) is very compelling in the omg-you-are-such-a-whore-and-disgrace-to-mankind sort of thing, but reality shows don’t count as shows since there is no real plot and all they do is melt your brain.
OH! Tuesday is my birthday. I’m gunna be 20! YEY! I can’t believe I’m in the two’s…tempus fugit, huh?
