First of all - BREATHE.
Second of all - I'm sorry I didn't see this yesterday.

I'm so sorry you feel so much all at once. It's so hard to sort through everything logically when our hearts and minds are at war. When this happens to me, I find the best thing to do is spend some time right off finding time to get back in touch with myself. A short time meditating or praying or whatever floats your boat can bring enough harmony for a small respite.

Then, and only then, when I've paid attention to my physical and spiritual self, I can approach my humanity and try to make sense of it all.

I wish I could advise you on your decisions, but the best I can do is offer an ear and a calming presence when you need one. After all, you've done the same for me.

BTW, my sister lives several hours from mom. She's goes up as often as she can. But it's always been my brother that's taken care of mom and dad before he died. They have an agreement though my brother would have taken care of them no matter what. He's just that kind of man.

I'll find a way to get home for a short visit at least. As soon as possible.
