I have shaved off all my lovely long hair. Did it last night! It took so long that I thought my old clippers were going to overheat and burst into flame, and burn me with it.

bun_egirl was not impressed, although she agreed to let me do it. After all I had wanted to do this many a time since growing my hair, but she always urged me to reconsider. ( Read more... )

you go through cycles of this don't you - growing your hair and then cutting it...

Indeed. Although this has been the longest that I have had long hair for - nearly 6 years!

I like the look of long hair, but I also like it short. I hate having long hair when I am working out/sweating etc or when it his hot weather....

Yesterday it was very hot and humid in HHeath. We have a very particular micro-climate. Today in Brighton it has been Biblical flooding... and now it is sunny!

So endeth the weather update. ;0)
