Two warnings - 1, this is loooooog. Like, really loooooog and 2, my 'n' key sticks and while I tried to catch them all I suspect I may have missed one or two of them.

It would be tempting to lol-run on a platform with the sole policy of "$50k/year (or even less) is enough to live on, the rest can go to charity" except I'd be scared people would actually vote for me and I'd have to flail around doing politics. Which I'm not completely opposed to, I'd just be worried that with that and study it would be too much.

What a great idea. I'd vote for you, which I do understand rather makes your point for you :D I'd love to run myself only I suspect crippling self-doubt wouldn't be well catered to in the glare of the public eye.

Yeah exactly. While the idea does have some appeal to me, I'm 99% sure I don't have the right personality for politics.
