Family values most definitely gone awry here, it would seem.

(On a side note, btw, there are cases where your prespective is both second and first person in the same sentence, as if you switched from one to the other after it was already written.

Ex:
"The trick there, I figured, would be to not let him see his face up close."

"We raised their guns simultaneously, pointing them at each other.")
