Yeah I know. 'The Other Smiths' are a tribute band to The Smiths and apparently they are excellent and are the closest thing you'll get to the real thing.

I'm not too knowledgeable on London restaurants because when I've been in London it's usually for day trips or I stay with a friend and eat at theirs. However I do know of this great Italain restaurant which is near Fortnum & Mason and the Royal Academy of Arts museum in the Piccadilly Circus area. I can't remember the name of it or the street it's on but I'll get back to you on that. Anyway the restaurant is not your typical Italian and you choose your food from the kitchen which greets you as you walk in, pay for it and then the waiters will bring it over to your table. It's a restaurant that's specially designed for the lunch hour crowd. But for where it's situated it's good value for money and you get a generous portion of fantastic foods like pasta, anti pastas etc. I'll try and find out what it's called.

Found it. It's called Franco's and it's on 61-63 Jermyn Street, London, SW1Y 6LX.

One thing about London is that it is expensive so take plenty of cash.

hey thanks so much for the tips! would you say that most places are cash only, or do they accept credit as well?
