 So butter tarts are these exclusively Canadian delicacies. They're described as pecan pie filling without the pecans on top. Mo, my very good (Canadian) friend hasn't been back to Toronto in a while and I think all of the Vancouver Olympicsness had him missing Canada.... or at least the butter tarts.
