I keep meaning to learn Final Cut...but haven't gotten around to it yet. So far though, I really enjoy after effects quite a bit.

Final Cut is more of a straight forward editing program for putting shots together. There's some effects, plug-ins, and filters to mess around with, but nothing really too groundbreaking.

I tend to do everything in AE although FCP is much easier to move clips around and splice on the timeline, but I've been working exclusively in AE for the past year, so I know my way around the shortcuts to get what I need done.

If you ever need any help with anything, don't hesitate to ask.
