I'm sorry, Rachel. I'm 90% confident that you could get rejected if you wrote them a letter explaining how unfair it is that they accept you without 4 years of English. I'm 99% confident that if you used a plethora of profanity you would get a rejection letter shortly thereafter.

lol, thanks kate. i am definitely considering writing that letter, although in order to calculate my sample error, i'd need to know how many degrees of freedom i have and since i'm not really sure if that term even applies, i'm not sure how that would work.

also, i never took english, so i don't know how to write a letter...
