I have to admit, hearing the way the sets are worked out, I would say if they actually had a constant flow of going from easy to hard, it would very much fit a real live band to have to play with no breaks and do an unexpected encore.
It was perfectly relevant for you to compare it to rock band, cause let's face it...everyone will. Rock Band was the first game to actually take guitar games, drum games, and karaoke games, and put them in one package with kick ass songs. Guitar Hero had to make their own extra instruments in order to survive in the market now dominated by the rock band franchise.
As far as undercharting goes...Tool? undercharted? fuck that! I would stop playing if they made a Tool song easy. I mean it'd be just as irritating as playing the hand that feeds on the rock band medium drum part. 'That's not what the band's playing! Where did you get this part?!'
