I've been doing NaNoWriMo since 2004 or thereabouts. I've won a few, I've lost a few, I've written some total and complete crap, and I've written some stuff that I'm still working on and intend to try to get published someday. This year, despite depression and angst and life more or less going to hell, I got my arse in gear and wrote 12k words of fiction in two days and carried it over the 50k mark a day before deadline. And I've been showing my work to people, and so far have not got the 'you're writing crap' reaction once. Then again, years of NaNo and a lot of fanfic of dubious quality have given me a great deal of practice.
Suffice it to say that, between your efforts, my efforts, and the efforts of everyone I know who does NaNo, combined with the donation drive that's currently going on, fuckbakes like this who make a mockery of the whole process really piss me off. I hope he donated at least $10 to the site and the Offices of Letters and Light if he really believes that his fuckery counts
