What the hell is up with some of these Christmas lyrics? I swear, they're just thrown together, some of 'em.

So, friends, follow along with me as I break down... asinine Christmas lyrics!

First up is "Last Christmas" by Wham! Okay, now, to start with... who names a band Wham!? Just terrible.

You think too much. AND need to stop listening to Wham! I don't care if it's against your will. FIND A WAY TO MAKE IT STOP. And here I thought hearing "Linus and Lucy on Crack" 7 times a day at work was bad.

OMG I am using teh dom icon becuase it is his brithday!!!1!

You think too much.

No such thing. (Which initially came out as "No suck thing.") Thinking is awesome! I can't be funny without thinking.

That said, the Wham! has to go, definitely.

Can the exclamation point in Wham! go in the middle of sentences like this? Are there exceptions made for bands with exclamation points in their names? Could I say "I'm going to see Godspeed You Black Emperor! tomorrow night" and be correct? THESE ARE THE THINGS I NEED TO KNOW!

I'm gonna bring in my own Christmas music. My Christmas music is good. Speaking of which, the song that's on right now is totally underrated (Chuck Berry - Run Run Rudolph).

Let me rephrase. You think too much about things that really, really don't deserve your thought. Example: Wham!

Yeah, down with Wham! I like a select few George Michael songs, but Wham! is just...uggh. I get all GRRRR when people point to them as one of the great pop bands (term used loosely) of the 80s. And yes, I vote yay for mid-sentence exclamation points if it is part of a proper name. Leaving it off would, to me, be no different than misspelling or not capitalizing.

Chuck Berry is great. Much better than Elvis, I feel. Although in my mind, that's not really saying much because I'm not all too keen on Elvis so it's not really as much of a compliment as I intended it to be. *ahem* Anyway.

You said suck. Heh-heh.
