“You know, instead of watching you study that advanced physics shite, we could be doing much more interesting things with our weekend.” Oz sighed, resting his head on folded arms. Jakob seemed horribly resistant to his puppy dog eyes, and he had been trying for the past half hour. He loved his nerd dearly, but he could only gain so much enjoyment out of watching Jakob study. “Things involving much less clothing.”
“The last time I tried to study naked, you made it impossible for me to get through a chapter before attacking me. I doubt the second try would improve our results.” Jakob dryly responded, the corners of his lips twitching upwards. After a moment, he looked at Oz over the rims of his reading glasses. “Besides, I’m nearly finished. Surely you can find something to do until this chapter is complete?”
Oz only grumbled, and slumped lower in his seat.
“And some of us actually care about things like going to university after we graduate. Considering that I quite literally want to go into rocket science, and the fact that you’ve managed to make me miss three days of school in the past month, I need to do all the studying I can. I’m not sure I can use amazing sex as a way to justify letting my GPA drop.”
“I could just pay off your grades, you know.”
The offer was made in an offhanded way, but Jakob still looked up rather sharply. There was a silence before he shook his head in answer. “No. If anything, I’d prefer study with me so I won’t be leaving you alone when I hopefully go off to the University of Limerick.”
“Like any school in its right mind would accept me as a student. I’ll be lucky to graduate the senior cycle and we both know it.”
“Maybe if you studied a bit more...” Jakob answered, before he pushed one of Oz’s own textbooks towards him. “I’ll make you a deal. If you work on getting your grades up... For every test that you make a passing grade on, I’ll help you celebrate in a way that your parents would highly disapprove of. Deal?”
For a long moment, Oz silently glanced between the book and Jakob before he shrugged. “...Yeah, alright. But I get to pick exactly how we celebrate.”
