“You went and saw strippers without me?” Chloe pouted, hands on her hips.
How did he get in these situations?
“Not on purpose! I didn’t know she was a stripper! Why would anyone ever bring a date to where they work, anyway?”
“You went to a strip club without me!”
“I didn’t enjoy it!”
Chloe sniffed, glaring at him out of the corner of her eye. “Were any of them prettier than me?”
“What? No!”
“Were they better dancers?”
“No?”
“Fine. You can take me to see them tomorrow night.”
