Their first kiss was almost accidental.
Ivy enjoyed physical contact. She'd kiss Jake's cheek, lean on Lars's shoulders, plop unceremoniously onto Aaron's lap, but she wasn't nearly so cavalier with Gina's space. She was really almost shy, touching Gina's hands, her arm, sometimes her shoulders or waist. Little caresses, lovely in their own way, but not intimate.
Then, on their first date, she got a call from Aaron. "I'll be back soon," she said, bent to brush her lips over Gina's.
There were other kisses that night, deeper, more passionate, but it was that casual, butterfly touch that Gina remembered.
