Lovely Lauhkina, Land of the Lake, Lady languishing between an expanding population and a rich lore-history as the presumed cradle of civilization. A struggle between the past, and those wishing to preserve it, and the future, and those needing to live in it.
Even now the vast ruins of unnamed cities by the shoreline of the Lauhkina Sea are being stripped bare, mined for stone, and even settled by 'pioneers' escaping the sprawling slums and crushing claustrophobia of the capital.
There is protest, of course, by the scholars of this age, but what can they do against such need?
