Summary: The spirit of a young girl named Georgia travels the world in search of her freedom, trapped as she was through the deaths of others.

Georgia didn’t immediately recognize where she was when she opened her eyes. Even after so long, the spirit always woke disoriented. She wondered immediately what kind of life the poor girl she inhabited had to push her such a length. Standing on the roof of a skyscraper, staring out at the twinkling lights below.
New York City by the look of it.
Shouting voices teased the edges of her hearing, the heavy winds blocking most of it out. The bit of the wind seemed nearly appropriate this night, the cloud cover and ozone predicting an oncoming storm.
Georgia watched through eyes not her own, wishing she was strong enough to sense what the girl was thinking, to hear a memory of her name, to tell her to turn around, to not take that last step over the edge.
They were gone long before they hit the ground.
