It was fucking hot in the Chapterhouse and Joe leaned back in the booth, watching Logan across the table. There was someone heading toward them, but Joe didn't look in that direction yet.

He didn't stop until he was at the edge of the table, the ubiquitous coat hanging from his shoulders like armor against the rest of the assembly. He stood out so much from the rest of the crowd and was still utterly forgettable. Good looking guy in a coat. All people ever noticed was the coat.
"Logan," he said with a smile. "Good to see you out and about."

He took a long swig of his drink, swallowing fast before realizing he probably needed to do some sort of introduction. "Uh, Jack, that's Joe Dick. We, uh, work together. Sometimes. Joe this is Jack Harkness. He's... a friend."
