There’s a knock at the door and Denham slips into the room, smiling.
“I thought you were going to wait in our room,” Alisha says, gaze dancing at the mischievous look on his face.
“I was just thinking... it’s been almost two years. And we still don’t have that girl we’ve always wanted...”
“Your romantic side slays me, Den,” she laughs.
He bows slightly. “I try hard, ‘lish.”
She stands from her dressing table and motions him over lazily. “It’s a good thing I’ve always wanted a big family.”
“I agree,” he says solemnly. “Three boys are just not enough.”
