Summary: All she has to go on is a silver identification bracelet.
Notes: This is inspired pretty much entirely by the malt prompt and is the reason for the time-hopping that created the worlds.
She finds it in a chest in the attic, buried under photographs and pictures she drew in school-tributes of the life she lived with a family that wasn’t really hers. They think she doesn’t remember before, but she does, and this is the proof that there was a before to remember.
A name, address, and birthdate are etched into the thin, cold silver on one side. The other sports a cute little teddy bear holding a heart. Her real parents had this custom-made for her, once upon a time.
She unbends, clutching the bracelet tightly, and closes the chest.
