Chocolate #19. Solitude

I'm not entriely sure if this should be chopped nuts or canon. It is plausible, but I just dunno if it really happens or not.
Ski nestled closer to the warmth beside her, sleep slowly fading as strong arms gently wound themselves around her body. Her eyes flew open as it occurred to her that she was dreaming.
The sensation didn’t fade. She sat up, the covers falling to her waist as her eyes darted about the dim room.
“Tristan?” The invisible hands that gripped her shoulders most certainly felt like his. She reached up to touch one but found only her own flesh, and her eyes welled with tears.
“Please,” she said, closing her eyes. “You need not worry about us. You need to move on.”
Arms encircled her and she breathed in his scent. The ghostly limbs held her for long moments while tears coursed down her cheeks.
“I love you,” she whispered.
The arms gave her a squeeze and every trace of him vanished. Ski opened her eyes to the still bedroom.
