I read somewhere on the internets you couldnt get the apocalypse horse Death on Undead Nightmare until you had beaten the main storyline which made me sad.
A few hours later while searching for bears to kill he just casually walked by a few yards up.

Oh and the unicorn, you find in Torquemada, there's a part on the map in Mexico that shows three horses drawn on the map and that's where the unicorn is supposed to be, according to a Youtube video. Its hooves apparently shed sparkles LOL.
