I walked in the kitchen this morning to find mum had left an open half-filled can of diet coke on the bench and only a few feet away on the same bench there was a swarm of ants devouring a dead fly.
The same swarm of ants Ive seen so desperate that they take to eating bread were completely bypassing the can of diet coke in favor of a dead insect.
