I know it truly has taken me forever to do this. And I promised myself I'd really do this yesterday - but here it is - the story of the last couple of weeks. I tried to do the wedding update last Monday but I was about halfway through it when I was called into my *meeting* - ah well here goes

Thanks!! I'm actually going to wait and see if anything happens with the place I sent my resume too - if I hear back a negative result or nothing at all I'll definitely be in touch...thanks so much for the offer and the good wishes!!!

I'm glad to hear you're doing okay and are on your way to bigger and better things!!! :o) Do you know any good resume programs or online services? I need to redo mine and am not sure how to go about it..... 'Cause I'm gonna start job hunting myself soon... :o)

I actually tackled it myself and i'm waiting to see how it goes...but if you decide to pay for help theres a girl (who has a lj) that walks peopel through it and helps them re-vamp their resumes and walk you through how to handle and interview process for a fee.

first of all, so nice to read about the wedding. i am so glad it was as beautiful as everyone hoped :o)
second, "sorry" to hear about your job... but i know how much you hated it there and you seem fine like you said so i can't help but feeling a bit of relief for you.
third, i wish you all the luck in the world in getting a new job :o)
fourht, i think it would be really good if you could work for your mother!!! my mother and i have a dream of opening up a flowershop one day.. or something like a flowershop, with small presents (that we want to make ourselves) and stuff like that :D

It all sounds so good. Sometimes losing a job is definitely a blessing in disguise. :) Well, in my case, almost ALWAYS it is a blessing. Ha ha. Anyhow, the wedding sounded beautiful... sounds like you have been having good times, despite the job loss... and are diligently pursuing other avenues. :) I DO hope one of them works out.
