Hi, this is a bit random but I stumbled across your livejournal from a website called My Immortal Beloved...which is an amazing website. However I noticed, to my utter dismay, that it appears it hasn't been updated in years...please tell me this isn't true? Because I've found a story on there that I absolutely and desperately LOVE and it's left at a total cliffhanger that will devestate me if the story is not finished. So I was just wondering if the site is still being updated or if it's dead. Because I REALLY love the story and have already contacted the author through the provided link but in case that meets a dead-end e-mail address..just had to ask you as well. So is My Immortal Beloved still running?

Hi :)

Yup, that's my old archive and I'm afraid that I haven't been able to update in a year or so :( However, if you let me know what the story is I may know whether or not it's finished and can direct you to another source - I have a quite a few of the authors on my FList.

As for Immortal ... I did try to find someone help with the archiving, but was let down a few times - I understand, it's a lot of work keeping a site running, more so if it's not even yours! I've kept paying for the webspace and server as I would love to get around to perking it up a bit - maybe in the summer if I'm not working.

If you like I'll put you on my FList? There are some terrific authors on it and some good communities that you might like ;) Anyhoo, let me know ;)

The author was Esmerelda, she wrote the 'Stranger Things' series. Really brilliant series, and it's left at such a cliffhanger...! *frustrated waving of the hands* That's so mean of her!!!

And sure, it would be great if you put me on your FList ^_^ I'll add you too.

Ah yes - HERE you are, that will take you to her website. I haven't visited recently but I'm pretty sure that it's now complete and with an additional part. I must get around to reading the rest of it myself!!

Love your username, it's beautiful.

I didn't take my fic down intentionally, unfortunately my domain name was up for renewal and I forgot about it, then forgot again after the reminder, went on holidays, came back and tried to renew, but by then the name had been tagged by a company who buy domain names and who then were *nice* enough to offer it back to me for a great deal of money. So I've lost my personal website :(

However, I've recently purchased another name and I'm working on getting the site online in the next week or so. I could give you the link then, if you still want it? I'll add you to my FList too, if that's ok?
