My cousin and I were going to hang out at my Grandpa's house and wait for her friend to get off work so we could watch some movies. My Grandpa was nice enough to let us stop at the Jewel's near his house, and gave us some money to get snacks. Now, our shopping trip began normally, with us just trying to decide what to get and generally perusing the isles. Things soon took a turn though, starting with a random bakery worker who liked my Yoshi shirt. Lol, every time I wear it people just think it's awesome; they should, because it IS. XDb When I was walking around one time, some kids saw it and just started going, "Yoshi! Yoshi!" repeatedly, trying to imitate the cute little dino. At the store however, a bakery worker randomly approached my cousin and I and asked where I got it, because apparently his girlfriend had been looking around for forever for one. I told him where I got it, we exchanged farewells, and then my cousin and I continued on our way.
Next, we were looking for a particular isle and wandered down what turned out to be the wrong isle. There, an employee quickly approached us and began asking if we would like to open a bank account with the TCF bank. He was nice enough, but his spiel was interrupted at the very beginning by none other than Mr. Fire Alarm. XD; This did not daunt him, however! He continued on as if nothing were happening at all. In fact, so did everyone else in the store. ^^; It was VERY confusing, to say the least... In the end, despite my cousin and I telling him we weren't really planning on ever opening a bank account today ("because we're not all that bank savvy" is what we said, and which is partially true), he still gave us a pamphlet and then casually strolled away after wishing us a good day. And the fire alarm was still blaring away.
I was a bit concerned about it though, and wondered if we should exit the store or continue shopping (if it was some prank or accident). I didn't want to end up being on the news as a part of a list of people trapped in a burning store because they thought the fire alarm was a prank. ^^; No one seemed panicked at all though, and the fact that even the announcer people that occasionally call for employees across the store didn't seem worried calmed me. We continued on shopping, and eventually the fire alarm stopped.
It briefly reappeared a little bit later, but everyone just ignored it again. I think maybe it was an error with their system? Who knows, lol? In any case, there were several loud beeping noises from the store intercom speakers that startled me throughout the rest of the shopping trip. My cousin and I made the purchases, and then we ended up walking over to our Grandpa's apartment nearby because my cousin claimed he told her he'd meet us there. When we got there the front door was locked. I went around back, and that was locked, too. We thought he might have gone for a nap, so I called him.
He was still at the store. OTL
In the end, my cousin and I watched YuYu Hakusho until her friend arrived. Then, we watched "Howl's Moving Castle", which, I must say, is AWESOME. It was amazing, and I love that movie. (I hadn't actually seen it before last night. XD;;)
